Your Pet’s Gut
Dogs and cats have trillions of microorganisms living within their gut, known collectively as the microbiota. The microbiota is essential to the normal functioning of your dog or cat’s gastrointestinal tract. The microbiota is required for digestion of plant matter, production of certain vitamins, protection against harmful bacteria, maintaining a normal gut lining and supporting their immune system.
An imbalance to the gut bacteria (known as a dysbiosis) may disrupt these normal functions and result in your dog or cat becoming unwell.
There are many factors which may unbalance the microbiota such as: Antibiotic use, scavenging, stress, travel including stays in kennels and catteries, a change in diet or an underlying gut problem.
Your vet may suggest supporting them with: A bland diet, probiotics and prebiotics, clays and pectin.
Directions for use:
To administer the correct amount of the product use the handy wheel on the syringe plunger. Rotate the wheel until it is to the right of the number representing the desired quantity to be administered (see diagram below showing the correct and incorrect position for 10ml).

Exactly the same as my vet supplies
My poor dog had a tummy upset and in the past my vet has prescribed this. She had a dicky tummy again recently and I didn’t want to fork out for an unnecessary vets bill so I bought this online. It settles her tummy quickly and turns her poo from the equivalent of molten lava to a much more solid affair. Picking it up on walks, no longer requires me to bring the kitchen roll along if you get what I mean.I would be careful about the dosage, and make sure you are familiar with the product, as your pets health is always the number one priority, but if you have had prior advice there is no harm in buying the product from here rather than the vets. They add a huge mark up on, so this is better.Did my dog like the taste? I’m not sure. I have one of those dogs that eats anything, which is probably why she ended up with a dodgy tummy in the first place [sigh], but she did lap this up and I’m not complaining. You’re supposed to squirt it right into their mouths, but if my dog wasn’t playing ball she was happy for me to just put it in her empty bowl and she lapped it up from there. It is a thick paste, rather than a liquid, and worked fine in the bowl.I would say, give it a go, I expect it will work just as well for your furry friend.

Dog squits
Has your dog got runny poos?? Give him this stuff.Much cheaper than the vets and it’s the same stuff. Works on my dog almost instantly and he seems to like the taste of it – though he there’s not much he won’t eat…Will almost certainly be buying more in the future.

Great paste
Purchased this a few times now, and it’s worked amazingly well for my dogs to resolve dodgy tummy episodes quickly. At first I purchased a small tube, but this didn’t last very long / or contain enough for all doses as my puppy is heavier. So would advise purchasing the larger one if you have a bigger dog.Easy to dispense, and once opened it stores in the cupboard too. An essential for dog owners – would recommend.

Goodbye bad tummy!
I’ve used this a few times now and it really has worked wonders for my little dachshunds. Salami had a very delicate tummy when he was a puppy and a course of this really help to settle him and stiffen things up. I used it again with my older dachshund when he’d got a bad stomach from getting at the bird seed and again worked wonders. Obviously these things don’t work perfectly for every dog but so far so good for us.I would just note that although the bigger tube is way better value for money, the end is much bigger and can be pretty messy with tiny dogs

Expensive at the vet’s.
Can be obtained without a prescription and we give it once a month to the dog for two days. I.e, 4-x 15ml for an old,19kg dog. Can be £16 for 3 doses at the vet’s!

Works but cats don’t like it.
This works. No doubt about it.But my greedy over active thyroid cat hates it.He won’t eat it on the syringe. So I mix it in with his Hills / pro plan convalescence food. He still knows it’s there and reluctantly eats it, but when trying to get him fatter, food hesitancy is not ideal.I trialed Logic firm which was much more palatable but doesn’t have the kaolin so firms up a little, but not like the pro kolin.I’m currently trying the pro kolin advance. To early to see if that works better, but the cat can identify it just the same.I’ve just started adding hot water to the mousse and mixing with a jelly pouch he likes with the paste which was an idea Jackson Galaxy suggested for the 2nd cat, who has too firm a poo. (Minus the paste) the first cat wanted the warm mash too.I’m hoping the water doesn’t effect the paste, as this is really working to get it in him. I guess I will know in the next few days.The other thing I note, is the more the cat eats the more you have to give. Whilst the vet is slowly tweaking up the medication the thyroid cat is constantly eating (currently eating 500-600gms of wet food plus 100gms plus dry) (compared to 200gms total for the 2nd cat) so I think it’s more effective when dosed based on how much they eat.Hope this helps. I will leave a review on the advanced version when he’s finished the tube. But I’ve already reordered this version as seems better.

Excellent in calming dog’s upset stomach
Whenever my Labrador eats something she shouldn’t and gets an upset stomach I always giver her some of this paste and it works a treat.She hated the probiotic the vet gave her but loves the taste of this and it doesn’t smell. Clear instructions, large sized tube but with easy to use with pre-measured dose using a twist and click action. Delivered on time but I keep a spare tube just in case!Would definitely recommend.
