Great product
My dog loves it and at a fraction of the price of some others recommended by my vet. Great product indeed

So popular, I’ve switched his food. Also helped his tummy.
I bought the recovery recipe for my chihuahua, who had regurgitated his food, AATU, twice in two weeks. I decided to put him on a gentle diet to see if helped settle his stomach – it has. I noticed a bit of wind during his first few meals, but this eased after mashing it down and I also mix in a bit of boiled water to take the chill off since I store it in a plastic container in the fridge to keep it fresh. I think he’d been gulping air.Lily’s Kitchen provided me with some advice regarding feeding amounts because I decided to try him on the dry food and mix it in with the wet. They were prompt and helpful via email.I have to say, he eats this so eagerly and seems nicely full – he has also lost a bit of weight – 300g in 4 or so days was quite a bit as he was only 5kg, but I’m not concerned as he needs to be more 4.5kg and can’t be hungry as he left a little bit this morning; he’s not a greedy dog.The wet food seems to be more popular with him than the dry, but for greater economy, he’ll be getting both. I’m looking forward to introducing a new wet food flavour this week and will keep a tin of this just in case he has an upset. The ingredients are quality and you can even see neat little potato cubes. I like that there are probiotics too. Finally, I have to say that I had purchased 10kg of AATU, but this has proved popular and helpful to him, so I’m giving some of his former food away and slipping in a bit here and there too. I’d much rather that he’s happy with what he eats and this has been great. Please note: if he had still be showing signs of illness, I would have taken him to the vet, as this food is not necessarily a remedy, but can help temporary digestive issues to settle. It’s just like a chicken and rice diet but with the convenience and added goodness of banana and prebiotics.

Dog loved it
My dog had a very upset tummy, I tried rice and chicken but she was not interested. So I thought I’d try this, and she loved it, she’s all better now.

Perfect for my dog recovering from a bad stomach
My dog has been quite ill with a bad tummy. She had the doggy trots and was decorating the house with eye watering bad smells. After a few days of eating very little we decided to try her on the recovery recipe. The food smells quite pleasant and is quite firm with pieces of potato visible in the mix. The image on the Amazon page is a fair representation of the product. We didn’t want to over load her so gave her small amounts during the day, giving her time to digest one lot before we gave her any more. She is now back to her normal 2 meals a day. The mix seemed to settle and comfort her stomach. My dog is not a fussy eater and is not particularly food motivated until we introduced this food. She absolutely loves it and actually cries with excitement when it is being prepared – never had that reaction to other food. She is also looking for her meal earlier than usual and keeps checking her dish to make sure she didn’t miss any. We are keeping her on the recovery recipe for a few days more and mixing it with increasing amounts of her normal food. It has led to a serious rethink of her current diet but I will need to do a bit more research before I move her to regular wet food.

Recovery Recipe – Excellent
We buy various Lilly’s tinned and dry food for our 2 dogs as they really like it and when you do a full nutritional comparison against other brands, this by far outweighs the others. We bought this recovery recipe when our dog was poorly and off her food and we wanted to tempt her to eat and get some good nutrients in her and this did the trick. She gobbled it up and she was soon back to her usual self. We keep a few tins available for other such occasions. Very good.
